Construction Process

Once you’ve mapped out the exact design you want, selected where you want you pool built and have your financing organized for the project, the next step is construction. Our main supplier, Fox Pools, uses some of the same technology used in building bridges, tall buildings, water towers and other structures that require high strength due to high stresses. Your swimming pool holds thousands of gallons of water while holding back thousands of pounds of earth. In order to ensure structural integrity over many years it’s important that your pool walls will remain intact regardless of external forces.

Below is a quick breakdown of our construction process.

Excavation
Your pool will be dug in accordance with the measurements taken by Cam-Mac Pools, then cross-referenced and jointly created with Fox Pools. An outer section will be excavated outside the wall of the pool in order to leave space for support braces, plumbing and a concrete footer.

X-Brace Wall Assembly
Patented by our main supplier Fox Pools, the X-Brace structure provides 100% support for your pool walls without concern for internal or external pressures.

Back-fill
After the X-Brace system and the bottom outside of the pool are placed and cemented in, the next step is to back-fill the outside of the pool with sand.

Concrete Decking
Once the back-fill has been completed, concrete is poured into forms around the perimeter of your pool, which forms the foundation of your pool deck.

Pool Bottom
Prior to the liner being installed, a hand finished grout floor bottom will be applied.

Set-up Plumbing Equipment
Depending on the size of the room, the equipment will be set-up in the best configuration to achieve maximum water flow and system efficiency.

Installing Liner
Once the bottom is finished, your liner will be spread throughout the pool and set into place. In order to have the liner fit tight and snug throughout your pool, a special vacuum is used to ensure it is uniform throughout.

Enjoy Your New Pool!
Once the pool has been filled with water, we will test all your pool components as well as add any necessary sanitizing equipment. Additionally, we will walk you through the operation of the pool to ensure you’re comfortable operating and caring for your new investment!
