The Cam-Mac story begins in 1968 in Ottawa, Ontario, with William (Bill) Campbell, his wife Lorraine Campbell; and business partner, Fred McAmmond. Fast forward to 1978, where Bill, and wife Lorraine, packed up the Campbell family to follow their dreams of bringing Cam-Mac Pools out west. Bill, with his prior pool building knowledge and experience, was determined to surpass the competition with his high standard of professionalism, tireless work ethic and true helpful intent to his northern Alberta customers.

Over the past four decades, Bill and Cam-Mac have well over 1,000 pool builds in the Greater Edmonton Region, Red Deer; and as far as Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Bill has since retired, but his legacy continues through his son David, who had worked alongside Bill since the age of 10. True to the Campbell name, David’s daughter, Randale, also has followed in her granddads’ footsteps by not only getting down in the dirt with pool builds, but also by running the Cam-Mac office with her Mother, Karen.

If there is anything to say about Cam-Mac Pools and The Campbells’, is that building pools isn’t just an occupation, it’s a downright calling.
